Mni Wiconi means ‘water is life’ in the Dakotas and Chief drew this symbol to honour the Santee Sioux people fighting for their waters, not so long after we were fighting for the waters of Northern Rivers when we stopped the fracking operations at the Bentley Blockade. The limited edition MEMORIAL T is in a blue that Chief chose, and we chose this one to honour the Water Ceremonies and Dances that were held at CHILLA during his memorial. These shirts are a walking prayer for our planets precious waters.
